Merogli Studios Lindos

A new commision for the office. This 8 room boutique hotel is to be renovated in the village of Lindos, Rhodes.

Having a tight budget and a site with accessibility problems we are now aiming in finishing this project within the next 5 months.

This is a building complex consisting of a pre-war structure and a newer (1970's...) addition. They all are in a poorly state due to the lack of proper maintenance and completely rough additions. In order to create a small hotel out of this mess there is a lot of detailed design and planning to be done....

An existing balcony... Insulation has vanished and of course we get humidity problems on the ceiling below..

Dead wood on the bottom... Its cheaper to get a new door rather than fixing this one...

Rabbits on the roof.... Looks like a lot of sleepless nights to tide up this mess...

 Here is the video that we have made to commission the project. Hopefully the place will look like this around April.... Note that the video has renderings from different design circles. However, the external in the animated parts are the final ones. All interior renderings are final

The name of the place probably will be changed but that doesn't bother us a lot here.... I will post the hotels site as soon as it's available.
